Mike Agee, JD
Wealth Management Advisor
A native of Memphis, Mike obtained a BA in History Cum Laude from Mississippi State in 1985 before graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1988. While at Mississippi State, he was elected Student Association President and Mr. MSU.
After graduating from law school, Mike practiced law with his father before becoming the Director of Planned Giving at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences where he conferred with donors and their advisors on the best method to complete a gift to the university whether outright or through a will or trust. After nearly three years at UT, he then began his financial services career at Raymond James in 1999. In November of 2016, he joined Strategic Wealth Management as a Wealth Management Advisor.
Mike is also active in the community serving on a number of boards in the past and present- Youth Leadership of Memphis, Bethany Christian Services, Planned Giving Council of Greater Memphis, Leadership Germantown Alumni Association and Forever Young Vets. He is a graduate of both Leadership Bartlett and Leadership Germantown. Mike has also served as President of both the Kiwanis Club of Bartlett and the Kiwanis Club of Germantown and the Planned Giving Council of Greater Memphis.
Residing in Germantown since 1993 with his wife and three children, Mike has also been active in youth activities serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster at Troop 368 and Popcorn Kernal at both Pack 367 and Troop 368. He was honored with the Order of the Arrow. Mike has coached youth soccer and baseball for his children.
Mike served on the Financial Advisory Commission in Germantown and has served on the Germantown Parks and Recreation Commission for over 15 years including leading the Youth Sports Commission.
Both of his sons earned the Eagle Scout award, and his daughter, after earning a four-year ROTC scholarship, is now serving as a logistics officer in the United States Army.
